An action concerning the sanitation of the Vişeu River banks on the area of the Vişeu de Sus locality was carried out on the 13th of May 2006, on the initiative of the Maramureş Mountains Nature Park Administration, with the support of the Maramureş Water Management Company and of the Ecologic Clubs of Gheorghe Şincai National College of Baia Mare, Aurel Vlaicu School of Baia Mare and the Theoretical High-school Bogdan Vodă of Vişeu de Sus.
Almost 200 volunteers participated showing that they cared about the enviroment they live in. We would like to thank them again!
